Under The Weather

[Verse 1] I woke up this morning and something felt off My throat's scratchy, my head's in a fog I called in sick to work, couldn't face the day I'm under the weather — staying in bed, I'll stay [Chorus] Under the weather — that's where I am Under the weather — can't give a damn Under the weather — need some rest Under the weather — I'll bounce back best [Verse 2] You brought me soup and you didn't ask why Just left it on the nightstand and didn't pry You turned the lights down low, said "sleep well" Under the weather — you're breaking the spell [Chorus] Under the weather — that's where I am Under the weather — can't give a damn Under the weather — need some rest Under the weather — I'll bounce back best [Instrumental] [Verse 3] By day three I'm feeling a little better Sitting up, reading, writing this letter You're still checking on me, making sure I'm good Under the weather — you understood [Chorus] Under the weather — but I'm on the mend Under the weather — thanks to you, my friend Under the weather — but I'm gonna be fine Under the weather — just needed time [Bridge] Sometimes you gotta slow down and let yourself heal Under the weather teaches you what's real [Outro] Under the weather But I'm bouncing back Under the weather Getting on track
